The staff are exceptionally nice and accommodating and the room is normal double in which the heating had been turned on to full blast. The property's location is marvellous and handy, not far from railwaystation as well as the airport station. Furthermore, it is 3 km from the touristic places like Stjordal Gk.

Fantastic and tasty breakfast, best ever had, with best quality smoked salmon and Norwegian preferred flavours, as example. The location of the hotel was magnificent and unbeatable, close to railway for transfer to town centre.

Als Hobby-Bergsteiger und Teil einer Freundesgruppe waren wir von unserem Aufenthalt in einem schönen Schloss auf dem Hügel begeistert. Die Lage war ideal, da wir einerseits in der Nähe des Zentrums waren, andererseits konnten wir den Berg hinunter und direkt in den schönen Wald gehen. Unser Superiorzimmer bot eine atemberaubende Aussicht auf den See und die Berge. Das Zimmer war gemütlich eingerichtet und das Marmor-Badezimmer war ein zusätzlicher Pluspunkt. Das Personal war freundlich und zuvorkommend, und das inkludierte Getränke in der Minibar waren ein netter Bonus.

Eine kleine Verbesserung könnte erreicht werden, wenn das Frühstück eine größere Auswahl bieten würde.

Delicious and huge buffet for dinner and breakfast, it was all there and was regularly refilled. The food also varied a bit daily, so it didn't get boring. Despite the proximity to the airport it was not really noisy. During the week there is an airport service, but you can also get there on foot (by trolley) in only 15 minutes.
